Bare-Metal Programming
Bare-Metal Programming is a process where the electronic system is designed
from the ground up starting only with the CPU (Central Processing Unit) which
is at the heart of every computer system. Rather than using "off-the-shelf" computers
systems, these bare-metal systems are designed with only the minimum required
components for the application. This 'bare-metal' system needs low level programming
using the specific protocols of each electronic chip interfacing with the CPU.
